LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups are the primary way that we grow in a discipleship community at CrossPoint Church. We meet together regularly for encouragement, friendship, to serve our communities and just do life together. This is the best way to grow a deeper connection in the church.

Below you will find helpful information to learn more about Life Groups.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is a Life Group?

A Life Group is a gathering of fewer than 20 people who get together regularly for friendships, to grow in faith and to make an impact on their communities. A trained leader and host lead each group, and groups usually meet at the host's home. An average gathering lasts for an hour and a half.

  • How do I sign up for a Life Group?

There are two ways to join:

    1. Contact the church office at (309) 699-6768 or office@visitcrosspoint.com and we can place you in a group.

    2. Contact a group leader yourself from the list above.

  • How often do groups meet?

Groups meet every week during spring and fall sessions (taking a break in the summer and winter).

  • WHAt about child care?

Each Life Group and family works out their own child care. Sometimes it works best for families in the group to share a sitter on-site or at one member's home, while some members arrange childcare outside of their group.
